How does ExactRead work?ĮxactRead is an exclusive technology of DVDFab applied in the process of copying or ripping protected DVD/Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc (relevant products include DVD Copy, DVD Ripper, DVD to Blu-ray Converter, Blu-ray Copy, Blu-ray Ripper, Blu-ray to DVD Converter, UHD Copy, UHD Ripper, UHD to Blu-ray Converter and Hi-Fi Audio Converter). While DVDFab can read the data on a protected disc, decrypt them, recheck whether the data conform to DVD/Blu-ray/4K Ultra Blu-ray specifications and correct the read error, and the whole process is what we called ExactRead. It is impossible to verify whether the encrypted disc data conform to DVD/Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD Blu-ray specifications, so tools like Imgburn and VSO Inspector without a decrypter cannot tell such a read error made by disc drives. There are times when disc drives read out wrong data from DVD/Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc but still report they have read the data on the disc successfully rather than report a read error.
